Kolhapur Chamber OF Commerce and Industries is a Non-government company and a Federal body of Trade, Commerce, Industry, Banking, Service Industry and Transport incorporated on 17 May, 1983 by visionary industrialist Late Shri. Shivajirao Desai and was inaugurated by then Hon'ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Shankarrao Chavan. It's a public unlisted company and is classified as 'company limited by guarantee'. It is majorly in Business Services business from last 36 years and currently, company operations are active. Increasing presence of GIBF in Maharashtra and to enhance its reach KCCI signed an agreement. The association will allow KCCI to grow its reach across its line of business. The association will also help GIBF to create a business-friendly environment in India and globally. The association, GIBF will provide its excellent facilities of global connectivity and recognition among business professional across various segments and help them to reach new heights in their area of work. GIBF will also help in identifying the possible area of cooperation and investment, encourage trade practices, programs that may be arranged between the parties, promote the event, organize and exchange information to develop trade and economic activities, and facilitate exchange publication, information and documentation etc. on programs organized by them.
